Tina Tidwell (200 RYT/ Ashtanga and Kids Yoga Instructor/ Dancer/ Choreographer/ Teacher), a native Floridian graduated with her degree in Dance from the University of South Florida with a secondary emphasis in Psychology focusing on Body Image Disturbance in dancers.  During her time at USF, she was president of the Dance Education Organization, worked with artists such as Janis Brenner, John Parks, Jeanne Travers, Stacy Spence (Trisha Brown Dance Company), Dionne Sparkman Noble, Andy Noble, Lynne Wimmer, and Gretchen Ward Warren, and had the privilege to study abroad and perform in Paris, France with Michael Foley, Richard Siegel, and Jennifer Fleenor.  Upon returning to the States, she produced, choreographed, and performed in the Mosaic Dance Concert Series at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts (formerly the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center).   After working in arts administration at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts as the Music Coordinator for two years, Tina decided to turn her life back to performing and teaching full time.  She has performed and her choreography has been seen both nationally and internationally on the stages of France, Florida, Ohio, Los Angeles, and New York City. Most recently seen with Stephanie Liapis at Dance New Amsterdam in New York City, she has studied with the Bill T. Jones/ Arnie Zane Dance Company, performed with Moving Current Dance Collective, All Out Rep Company, Busch Gardens Theme Park, Shoes At The Door, Hixon Dance Company, and Anna and The Annadroids.  Tina relocated to Columbus, OH and received her 200 RYT Yoga Certification in Ashtanga Yoga at Yoga on High.  She is a Yoga Alliance certified teacher currently living in the Tampa Bay area.  She is happy to say she survived her first winter with her very fat cat, Cody, but they are both glad to be back in the sunshine!
